What you'll do

  • Providing academic advising, maintaining records, and evaluating student performance.
  • Participating in college service, including committees, the accreditation process, and program reviews.

  • KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Knowledge of the mission and philosophy of a community college.
  • Ability to leverage technology for teaching math courses in online and remote learning environments.
  • Knowledge of current issues and trends in college mathematics education, including emerging challenges posed by artificial intelligence.

What you'll bring

  • A master’s degree in mathematics, statistics, or a related field from a regionally accredited college or university.
  • Any qualifying degree must contain at least eighteen (18) credits in graduate-level mathematics and/or statistics courses.
  • Experience teaching co-requisite courses, with a focus on liberal arts, business, and STEM pathways.
  • Experience teaching diverse student populations.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development and service, commensurate with experience.
