My family and I are delighted by the results, the workamanship, everything. I contacted three companies and Greg responded immediately. He came out, listened to my needs, took measurements and rendered my drawings before the second company called me back. This was an easy project for them. They executed everything according to plan. Even when we ran into a few hiccups, they changed work orders and got the job done.
I am very picky but I have not found one thing wrong with my back yard.
The workers were here everyday around the same time. They started the job and cleaned up each day. What amazed me the most was how they left my place. They sprinkled extra rocks where they had been driving over on the side of my house which I didnt expect. I was amazed by how clean they left the place.
I would recommend this company to anyone. Unfortuantely, I did look around so I can not say how much other company would have charged, but I am 100% satisfied with my results...okay 95% satisfied with the results. I ordered mature orange and lemon trees. The lemon tree is blooming and we are seeing lemons, but that orange tree is possibly a dud. Other than that we are satisfied with our back yard. We sit back there daily and that was not the case before.
We completed our backyard with Centerpoint Landscaping after building a new home in Summerlin, and I can confidently say the experience exceeded every expectation we had. Specifically, working with Greg Sample was absolutely outstanding.
I have a bit of a background in both design and landscaping — enough to sketch out a rough vision and probably enough to get myself into trouble — so I came to Greg with a very rough hand-drawn concept of what my wife and I wanted. We had one initial meeting at our house to talk through ideas, and then later sat down for his formal design presentation.
Honestly, it blew my mind.
The level of detail and professionalism was unlike anything I’ve ever seen. We could see every single aspect of the project brought to life: every tree, plant, boulder, material choice, the stonework, lighting, patio cover, built-in barbecue, spa deck, and the sunken fire pit. What really impressed me was that his rendering even accounted for the exact orientation of our lot, allowing us to visualize how the sun would rise and fall throughout the day and how the backyard would look at different times. We could even identify which plants would receive full sun versus shade and make informed decisions accordingly.
The entire process felt incredibly thoughtful, creative, and professional from start to finish.
One funny story: as my wife and I were walking into Greg’s office for the presentation, I told her, “No matter what, we are NOT signing today. We’re going to negotiate, take our time, and get other bids.” I knew this was going to be a major investment because we were doing an entire backyard from scratch.
Then Greg put the rendering up on the big screen.
Within minutes, I was completely smitten. The vision was so well thought out and beautifully executed that we signed on the spot.

After comparing few landscapers, I decided on Centerpoint for their reasonable pricing and sincereity in showing up and giving me a free estimate. Unlike few others who refused to share the design (for fear of me shopping with a competitor) Jeremy wholeheartedly send me the video of the design that I could discuss with few of my friends.
Once the project started-- every single day they were on time and work tirelessly without wasting time (scrolling on the phone or smoke breaks etc such nonsense) . They are very accommodative for any unexpected issues that show uo always in a big project like this; For eg; when the city said that metal studs is not adequate and it should be a concrete wall due to high winds in the area, the additional cost was evenly split between me and them Vs slapping me with additional cost. When the time came to install the fan I could not procure the fan in time and the Electritian went back; When the fan was eventually ready they sent an electrician again at no cost to me; this speaks to their elegance in business deals. They could have easily said that I need to pay for the second visit since the mistake was mine. Any time an issue came up they knew to solve it with grace and fairness. Jeremy the designer, Daniel the supervisor and Meghan the office support are all excellent professionals in their own right. I have been working with contractors for over 35 years; Centerpoint kind of contractors are hard to come by. They are a GEM of a gentlemanly, professionally excellent and quintessential friendly business that one can dream of. Enjoy working with them. It will be a sheer delight, peace of mind and a beautiful backyard.

Was looking for a really good company to design and construct a substantial backyard landscape project. Centerpoint was our first stop. We met with Joey, one of their professional landscape designers. These guys are pros in every way. Extensive design work with pro graphic and design software made it easy to see changes and options. Always quick to respond and reply to inquiries and questions. Once design was finalized, a complete HOA package, with drawings, photos, material lists and photos was provided for those needing to submit to your HOA for approval. Project estimated at 6 weeks, was completed in 5. Workers were experts with excavation, irrigation, drainage, lighting and all hardscape and planting. They made me realize how inexperienced the people were that did a prior paver install at our home. Our project team included our designer, horticulturist, materials manager, construction manager, and crew leader. We met with horticulturist at Hurley's and Star Nurseries to select trees and plants. Irrigation and lighting components are best grade. The crew cleaned up the street, driveway and other areas with debris at the end of each day. In fact, my HOA commented on how well organized and clean they kept areas in front of my house and street. The final completed project was absolutely beyond our expectations, we are so pleased.
