What you'll do
- Conduct research to support the development, revision, and benchmarking of institutional policies, including reviewing peer institution policies, relevant laws/regulations, and best practices to inform recommendations.
- Review, edit, and proofread draft policies and procedures for clarity, consistency, formatting, and adherence to university policy templates and style standards.
- Provide support for the policy management system, including uploading and formatting documents, updating workflows, tracking approval status, and troubleshooting routine access issues.
- Assist with data and records support for the policy office, including tracking policy review/renewal dates, maintaining version control, and organizing supporting documentation.
- Assist with communicating policy updates and announcements to faculty, staff, and other stakeholders, and respond to routine policy-related inquiries.
What you'll bring
- Must be in good academic standing and maintain a GPA of 2.
- Must be enrolled as a degree seeking student with a minimum of 6 credits in the current or upcoming semester at Nevada State.
