About the role
A faculty member in the School of Nursing is expected to fulfill teaching, service, and scholarship

- Serve on committees within the School of Nursing (SON), Touro University Nevada (TUN) and the community at large
- Function as student advisors to assigned group of students
- Attend graduation, school, college, and student functions as required
- Complete student status forms when appropriate
What you'll do
- Faculty members assume the responsibility of developing, recommending, and executing the curriculum and all approved policies of instruction.
- A faculty member in the School of Nursing is responsible for the delivery of a portion of the curriculum for which he/she has suitable education and experience which may include oversight of students in clinical settings.
- He/she will follow the curriculum as designed and collaborate with key individuals as needed.
- He/she is expected to assist the University and School of Nursing in meeting academic or related committee
- All of these duties require that the faculty member remain current in practice through Nursing Science participation in professional development activities.

What you'll bring
- Doctorate in nursing or a related field
- Two years of clinical nursing experience
- Strong knowledge base in specialty area(s)
- A demonstrated ability and desire to teach
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Strong interpersonal skills and enthusiasm and motivation to contribute to the growth and development of the basic science department of the School of Nursing and the University
- Ability to apply nursing science in the clinical setting
