What you'll do

• Spring Mountain Treatment Center is a 110-bed mental health facility providing acute crisis stabilization services for adults, teens, and children in a secure inpatient setting since 2001
• Our individualized treatment includes a structured, therapeutic environment, intensive physician involvement and oversight, and daily group and educational programs
• We provide a caring and healthy environment that gives individuals a chance to make positive changes
• Website: https://www.springmountaintreatmentcenter.com Spring Mountain Treatment Center is currently seeking a dynamic professional to join our team as a PRN Dietary Cook
• Under the supervision of the Manager of Dietary Services, prepares, seasons, and cooks food for the hospital patients, employees, and visitors
• As our Cook, you must remember that meals are three of our patients' most important time of the day

What you'll bring

• Requirements: Minimum High School diploma or equivalent required
• Current Food Handler's Card
• Minimum two years’ experience in the kitchen, in a psychiatric/patient care setting preferred
• Must consistently maintain a safe and clean working environment, following both Spring Mountain and the State Of Nevada Policy and Procedures
• Ability to assess food and supply items relative to daily scheduled menus, as well as, for special events and/or activities
• Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach and stand for long periods of time
