About the role

What you'll do

• in accordance with all Company standards, policies and procedures.
• Maintain plans and goals of department as developed by management.
• Prepare and produce Banquet Event Order, Oversee event planning including room blocks, VIPs, Transportation, Special requests by Group and coordination of any additional outside vendors.
• Overall knowledge of room capabilities as they relate to capacities for conference facility.
• Attend daily Catering meetings with all Banquet departments and A/V Department to discuss upcoming events.
• Ability to create detailed menus that pertain to the specifics of a themed event.
• Supervise the proper execution of events by coordinating and managing the efforts of the Banquet Manager and support staff.
• Open communication with all departments in the planning of special events.
