Always a good visit! My dogs actually get excited when I tell them we're going to the doctor! Dr. Cortez is so good with my dogs. Very patient. Very thorough, is courteous, professional and knowledgeable. Doctors are very thorough, will take the time to explain everything, and are very understanding. Tell them I referred you.
Rainbow animal hospital is truly the best. They are one of the few vet offices I have been to where I don’t feel like they are trying to up-sell me on everything. They take a common sense approach and make suggestions that benefit my pets but also keep in mind the costs. Their vets and technicians are extremely friendly, professional and helpful. I am so grateful I have found them and will continue to seek their advice and care for my pets. I highly recommend them- I think I have seen all the vets at one time or another and all have been fantastic. Update: I’ve been with Rainbow for three years. I still think they are wonderful - all of the Veterinarians and staff been caring and compassionate. I had to put one of my dogs down in May and it was heartbreaking. I was comforted by just how compassionate they were to my sorrow. I continue to highly recommend Rainbow Animal Hospital. Update – July 2026: I want to sincerely thank everyone at Rainbow Animal Hospital, especially Dr. Cortez. When my dog Auggie suddenly stopped eating, he was diagnosed with pancreatitis despite having relatively vague symptoms. Because treatment with IV fluids and Panoquell fell over the July 4th holiday, Dr. Cortez spent over an hour after closing trying to coordinate his care—including calling emergency hospitals to see if they could continue his treatment on the holiday and helping develop a diet that would also work with his copper storage disease. Auggie completed his treatments and is now eating again and feeling much better. What impressed me most was how much the team genuinely cared. They went above and beyond to coordinate his treatment rather than simply sending us to the emergency hospital. While the treatment wasn’t inexpensive, it was far less costly than an ER visit would have been, and I truly appreciated their efforts to provide the best care in the most practical way possible. Their compassion, dedication, and willingness to go the extra mile made a difficult situation much easier, and I am incredibly grateful to Dr. Cortez and the entire Rainbow team.
7/26: In the space of 11 days, I sadly had to put two cats to sleep. I had an almost 19 year old who had bladder cancer and 11 days later my 8 year old rescue slipped into DKA and was too sick to be saved. The staff gave me the time and space to make my decisions and to be with both cats after they passed. Everyone was so kind. They gave me a doorbell-like device to let them know when I was ready to say my goodbyes and let them go so that they didn't interfere with those precious last moments. I picked out the urns and paid before either cat was put to sleep so that I could devote all my heart and attention to my sweet kitties. Everyone at Rainbow Animal Hospital made 2 difficult days just a little bit easier. I am grateful for the vets, vet techs, and front desk staff. They got me in for our emergencies and gave me the time I needed to say goodbye. They truly care about pets and the owners and made two of the worst days of my life a little easier. 7/13/25 UPDATE: Dr. Master and VA Maria were so kind and thorough with my cat who is extremely high stress and it is causing her illness. My cat was so upset having to leave her house that she was pretty agitated, but Maria was patient with her and was able to get her vitals. Dr. Master is very knowledgeable and sent over 2 prescriptions to the Chewy pharmacy for compounded eye drops and kitty Prozac. I trust Rainbow Animal Hospital to treat my pets well and to respect the fact that money is an issue for me. They don't write up expensive estimates. They explain why they are including each and every thing on the estimate. I feel comfortable with the staff and I know my cats are getting exceptional care. 3/24/25 UPDATE: I found myself back here with my cat who really is a medical mystery. I called in the morning and was able to get a 1:30pm appointment. Dr. Master and vet tech Linda were caring and listened to my concerns about the on-going issues with my cat. They were very thorough. The were conscientious about my cat's mental health as well as his physical problems. They allowed him to dictate what they could get done and stopped when he was clearly showing stress. They made a follow-up appointment to get the blood they couldn't get today. Dr. Master was aware and showed genuine concern for my budget in addition to my cat. I appreciate the flexibility to make choices within all my constraints. Dr. Master is a king, caring, professional, and thorough vet. Every staff member i spoke with was professional and helpful. I highly recommend Rainbow Animal Hospital. 3/4/25 UPDATE: I had a true crisis with my cat on the 2nd of March. Called (on a Sunday) and they said, get her here. It looked like my 18 year old cat was in kidney failure. I truly thought I was losing her. Dr. Master came in, asked how the cat i brought in 2 weeks ago was and then turned her attention to the current situation. She was calm, kind, and empathetic with the cat and me She suggested a plan that included fluids, anti-nausea meds and return home while waiting for the blood results. Turns out, while she has kidney disease, my cat could recover. She remained calm despite my despair and I am so thankful she was on duty. My cat is still on meds but has made a complete turn around. Dr. Master has emailed lab results, diet food prescription, and even texted today that she has advised the next dr to watch for more results and let me know as soon as they arrive. She was thinking about my cat even when we're not there. I appreciate that so much. I trust Dr. Master with my cats and am so grateful for Rainbow Animal Hospital.
We love Dr. Johnson. We actually also really like every Veterinarian we have seen here. The staff are also amazing. They see both of my dachshunds and I couldn’t ask for a place that gives just amazing and compassionate care. Still just an amazing experience!
I love everyone at RAH, from the front desk to the back staff, doctors, techs & assistants, excellent service, excellent medical care every time! I brought my Papillon Morticia in recently for her heartworm test and to have a tiny bump under her eye examined. I was completely satisfied with the doctor and staff, everything was explained in detail. I would recommend ALL of the doctors at Rainbow Animal Hospital, always excellent medical care for my fur babies❤️🐾 I was there yesterday with my dog Rei. Dr Cortez is very sweet, she did a great job diagnosing Rei & her after care instructions are thorough and easy to understand. As always RAH has great doctors, technicians, assistants & receptionist ❤️🐾
We saw Dr Master on Tuesday for our cat that has double pink eye. She and her staff were so sweet and helpful, my 7 month old kitty was comfortable enough to explore and sniff them when he's still a little skittish of me and my boyfriend. We had a bad experience at an emergency vet the night before and Rainbow Animal Hospital made us feel so much better! I called them today 20 minutes before they closed and someone ACTUALLY answered. Normally you dont get an answer when you call so late. Its really easy to make an appointment on the website, they send you coupons and have many time slots even for a same day appointment! I think this will be THE vet we take our babies to 💜💜 thank you Dr Master and staff for the awesome experience 🥰
