They take the time to explain everything and never rush you out the door. My dog left happier than when we arrived… (may have been the yummy treat he got!) which says everything!

I brought Rocco, a 13 year old dog I rescued in July, in for a followup on tests he had been given a week before. The staff there are incredible! Rocco weighs 120 pounds, I'm 77 years old, and I can neither get him safely into my car nor safely out of it. When I explained this on the phone to the operator there, she immediately said I should call them when I arrive and they would send staff out to safely bring him in and would safely get him back into the car after my appointment. This they did. Dr. Banes is our vet and she is wonderful! She went over the test results with me, came up with a reasonable diet plan for Rocco, patiently listened to my concerns as a first-time dog owner, and ordered new dog food for me to use to help Rocco lose weight and help with his arthritis. I love Cheyenne West Animal Hospital.
We have a 6 year old Corgi who has been seen by multiple vets throughout her years, but Dr. Welkins has been the absolute best of them all! She is super attentive to our dog’s needs but also takes into consideration what us as her dog owners’ have to say. She is knowledgeable, beyond competent, and has helped my corgi regain her quality of life back! Thank you Dr. Welkins for your knowledge & compassion!
I did a walk in for bloodwork prior to a dental. I was greeted with a friendly smile and how can I help you. They quickly came and got my dog and did the blood test. She was back in my arms in a few minutes.
