I'm a ribeye guy, so that's the lens here. Hank's serves a 22oz bone-in ribeye that's dry aged 28 days, and it delivered exactly what you'd hope for — that deep, nutty dry-aged flavor you can't fake or rush. Here's a small thing that tells you something about the kitchen: I normally order a dry-aged ribeye medium, because I want the fat to render a little more. This time I went medium rare. I didn't miss the extra minute at all. The crust was dark and well developed, the steak came out plated simply with no sauce hiding behind anything, and it didn't need help. When a kitchen sends a steak out bare like that, they're telling you they trust it. The supporting cast held up. The steakhouse salad could genuinely be a meal on its own — same goes for the French onion soup, which had a properly broiled gruyère cap with real char on it. Both were substantial enough that I don't fully know how I made it through the ribeye, let alone the butter cake. I finished that too. No regrets. Now the part I want to spend real time on, because it's what I'll remember: the service. Our server was Duncan, and he was exceptional. Friendly, genuinely helpful with suggestions, and — this is the thing — always there right when we needed him and never hovering. Most restaurants get one of those two wrong. You're either scanning the room hunting for your server, or you're being checked on mid-sentence every four minutes. I never once had to look for Duncan, and I never once felt crowded. That's a hard balance, and it's not luck. His support staff was just as good, checking in and offering ideas on what to order. One tip if you go: ask for the back. The front of the room has more energy, which is what you want with a group. My wife and I sat in the back and it was quiet and intimate — we talked through the entire meal without raising our voices once. Two very different restaurants depending on where you sit, and both are right for the right occasion. Excellent food, exceptional service, and a room that gives you a choice about the kind of night you're having. Worth it.

The service was impeccable! Louie was our main server and he was very knowledgeable, kind, and attentive. Throughout the course of our meal, we had many wonderful servers providing us with exceptional care. The food was absolutely delicious 😋!!! And I really enjoyed the lovely ambiance.

Steak houses are kind of my thing, so I'm always very excited to try a new one. I'm so glad I tried Hank's. Hank's is what a steakhouse should be, from the impeccable service, the attentiveness, to the ambiance and, of course, the steak. From the moment we sat down, a team of wait staff made sure we had everything we needed right away. They were knowledgable and helpful. They even indulged my interest in the china they had on the tables - it was so beautiful! I know it's just for show, but it was absolutely gorgeous! You can tell that I'm still obsessed. China notwithstanding, let's talk about the elements that makes Hank's a steakhouse you will want to visit - 1. Already talked about the service. It was superb. 2. The all-important food: we loved everything we had, including the steaks. I like mine well-done, no pink, butterflied, and there is an art to preparing a steak this way. I've had them come out like shoe leather, or charred with the middle still pink, but a really good steakhouse that specializes in steak cooked any and all ways will get it right. Hank's did. I had a well done filet that cut like butter. Add an excellent Bearnaise sauce and that's pretty heavenly. I was very happy. 3. Cocktails: they have a massive wine list with anything you could possibly want. I had a lavender lemonade and it was delicious. The wine list alone is worthy of applause. In short, Hank's is a true fine steakhouse. We will be back. And if you haven't tried it yet, then do. It's totally worth it. Enjoy!

An amazing dining experience! From the time we were seated to the end of our meal there was attention to every detail. Erik (hope I spelled correctly) was our waiter. Every detail of the menu was explained and from start to finish everything was cooked to perfection. I was spoiled with the halibut and charred cauliflower. Halibut is a very rare treat for me, have not had it in a number of years. Moist and flaky and the piece not too small or large; for me just right. I gmhad been looking forward to creme brulee but had to forgo desert. (next time and maybe desert first). This meal a gift to celebrate my birthday and such a wonderful treat. Thank you to all of the staff for preparing and delivering on every level to make this a dining experience to remember.

My wife and I have been to Hanks several times and have usually had good experiences. However on June 27, we went for my wife's birthday and came away with a less than good feeling. While the service was still good, the noise level is quite loud, and the quality of the food just isn't what we had come to expect from Hanks. I had the 22 oz bone in Rib Eye, and I can truthfully say it was the worst steak I have ever had in my life. While Rib Eyes are known for a high level of fat for flavor, this steak had more fat than it had meat. At $102, I would expect better. I will think twice about going back to Hanks again.
