We always go to the competitor down the street (yes, that one). I saw this opened and we decided to try it. We got three flavors. Every one of them was a 10/10. I think the competitor gives more “modern, hipster, small batch” energy, which there’s a time & place for. It’s delicious, but sometimes I just want good classic flavors. Handel’s is *high* quality ice cream for ice cream purists. Don’t sleep on it. Update. Still an awesome place, but I watched the blonde girl drop the lid to the blender on the floor before mixing my milkshake and she only rinsed it off at the back corner sink, she didn’t sanitize it. Gross. I wasn’t going to make a big deal about it because they were extremely busy (7/26/26), but yeah - she should’ve gotten a new clean blender lid.

Best ice creams in town ❤️ wish they extended their hours at least during the summer 😅noticed lot of ppl craves ice cream late at night as it was full when I got there which was 21:50 , good customer service too

This place was awesome! The staff was very friendly and patient. The place was busy, but it didn’t feel rushed or hectic. The ambience is simple but it’s really nice. I think I prefer this place over Sorry Not Sorry now. This was my first time going to Handel‘s!

We love the ice cream. Lots of flavors and big servings. Only disappointing thing for me at this location is no chocolate sprinkles, but their other location on Charleston has them.

Best Banana split I have ever had! It was busy but the line went pretty fast!
