Visited this location a few days ago. I’m looking for a puppy, but not in a rush. I also wanted to visit the different shops to see selections, ask my questions, see the puppies and find out what the price also includes besides the animal.
When I walked in the store, I noticed no weird or yucky smells. The store was very clean. Each puppy had its own enclosure that was also very clean. Even the puppies were clean, cute and looked healthy. I looked at the Teddy Bear puppy. As soon as I saw the price, my mouth dropped open. This was definitely the most expensive prices I’ve seen. I asked what the price includes and the employee listed, food, food schedule, micro chip fee, kennel, spay/neuter fee, potty training kit snd lifetime training classes. There were some health guarantees included, but I can’t remember those details. I could be forgetting a few more perks. A friend told me training classes separately can be $1000.00 + all by itself. They definitely seem to set you up for success.
This location seemed to offer healthy, clean pups with all the extras you’ll need when you take your pup home. It didn’t feel like a puppy mill to me, but I wouldn’t know what to look for if it did. Petland in Henderson might be on my list of shops I might get my new roommate from.
I just feel very bad for the puppies since they are stuck in those tiny boxes and is just stepping around and sleeping on there pee poop so me personally I feel like they should lower the prices and have better dog cages for them. Xoxo✌️
This place is awful. We went in today, hoping to connect with a puppy, unsure of exactly what we wanted. We had a decent idea, wanted to play with a few of them, feel out their personalities and fall in love. we were told which puppy we could play with and that we only had 10 minutes and could play with him over the barrier that he was in. These people have no idea what it means to connect with a puppy they are there just to sell them and they’re not good at that. We ended up driving 40 miles to another puppy store where we were allowed to play with the puppies and connect. And left with our forever Toy dachshund. I feel so bad for the puppies at this place. Per the staff, there are only allowed out 30 minutes a day so that’s 23 1/2 hours in a cage like a prisoner. This should be shut down. They were not given a life sentence as a hard criminal. That’s how this feels. Good people wanting to rescue rather than purchase because that’s what it feels like here and still not allowed. Don’t be fooled by your staff. Go in undercover as a customer so you can see for yourself how they treat people.
This place is awful first of all it's terrible to be selling dogs and cats when their are dogs and cats already needing forever homes at animal shelters and nobody thinks to go there nobody really wants to go there because they want designer animals unfortunately. 💔💔💔 Second of all what on Earth happened to this place? I used to love to go see the ferrets birds rabbits guinea pigs hamsters big red the parrot. No more and it has a very cold vibe to it as soon as you walk in with hardly any pet supplies the place looks dead and feels dead no life whatsoever even no more music anymore. At least this used to be a lot of fun to go to at one point
What a terrible experience this place was. Asked to see a puppy after 30 mins of standing around and looking for help. Finally asked one of the worker if we could pet a dog. I was asked if I planned on taking a dog home today. I said no because who make a $6000+ decision without petting the dog 1st. I was told to "just play with the one that was already out". These puppy mill dealers are getting bold. Im glad I came to the reviews after. I wonder if the owner is willing to show how they rectified the issues others have had with buying sick dogs from petland. I appreciate the rude employee that saved me from making such a huge mistake and buying from this petland.
Claims to be a pet store that sells pet supplies…but there’s barely any supplies, just a bunch of puppy mill dogs. They had a sad cat food section w like 3 bags to pick from & a sad dog food section & didn’t have any of the brands they said they carry online. Major waste of time & it smells like dog poop as soon as u open the door.
It’s legitimately just a puppy mill w a store front. Definitely will never be back.
