A Peaceful Retirement for Majestic Animals

Nestled in Henderson at 382 Bruner Avenue, the Lion Habitat Ranch offers a unique, heartwarming experience for wildlife lovers. Originally established as a retirement home for lions once featured at the MGM Grand, the ranch has expanded to include giraffes, ostriches, and other rescued animals. The focus here is on creating a peaceful environment where animals can enjoy a slower, well-cared-for life.

Educational and Interactive Experiences

Visitors to the ranch can expect more than just observing animals from afar. The staff encourages up-close interactions, such as feeding Ozzie the giraffe or watching painting sessions where lions create art with their paws. Throughout the visit, knowledgeable guides share fascinating insights about the animals’ histories, care routines, and conservation efforts, making the experience both fun and educational.

A Family-Friendly Day Out

The atmosphere at Lion Habitat Ranch is laid-back and welcoming, perfect for families, tourists, and locals alike. The ranch is open on select days (typically Friday through Monday), so checking their schedule ahead of time is recommended. Special events, private tours, and even "Trainer for a Day" experiences are available for those looking for a deeper dive into animal care and enrichment activities.
