Clark County committed $1.5 million toward the project, which will anchor a 1970s exhibit and convert the garage into classrooms for students. What's Next: The museum guild is currently raising the remaining $1.6 million needed to complete the move and restoration.

Why It Matters: It brings a tangible piece of Southern Nevada history to town, giving residents free access to explore Hughes' legacy.
