Teens Intro to Machine Sewing and Safety

Go to event
West Las Vegas Library

This class is a required prerequisite for all Open Sew Times and for using the sewing machines at the library. Registration is required. Ages 13+

This hands-on class is perfect for beginners and will teach you how to safely use a sewing machine. You’ll become familiar with its essential parts and functions, learn how to thread it properly, and practice basic stitches to help you get started on a variety of sewing projects.

This class includes the use of cutting tools and sharp objects, such as sewing needles, so safety is emphasized throughout. By the end of the class, you’ll feel confident using a sewing machine and ready to take on your own projects.

Registration is required.

Reserve your spot online or ask a Teen Specialist.
