Learn to play Magic the Gathering
Learn to Play Magic: The Gathering Commander!
Ever wanted to play Commander but didn't know where to begin?
Join us for a fun, beginner-friendly introduction to one of the world's most exciting strategy card games! This monthly workshop focuses on Commander: Magic's most popular, casual social format where you choose a legendary hero to lead a 100-card deck in a free-for-all group battle.
We will walk you through all the basics of casting spells, building your battlefield, and (most importantly) having fun! Whether you are completely new to Magic or just looking to learn a new way to play, we'll help you get started.
Have a deck? If you already own a preconstructed ("precon") Commander deck, feel free to bring it along!
Need a deck? No problem at all! We will have plenty of beginner-friendly decks available for you to borrow and try out.
Bring your curiosity, bring your competitive spirit, and discover why millions of players have fallen in love with Magic!
This event is free and open to the public. For more information please call 702.507.3631
