I Know Her: The Girl They Called Crazy

"I Know Her: The Girl They Called Crazy" is a raw, humorous and deeply personal one-woman stage play about a woman reclaiming the story behind the names, labels and judgments placed on her life. Through the voice of Tara Monique, the audience is invited into a candid journey through childhood memories, family dysfunction, neighborhood survival, school experiences, trauma, laughter and self-reflection as she confronts what it means to be called “crazy” in a world quick to label pain but slow to understand it.
