The place has gone off the rails. The turnover is insane. I see why. You have the 'new' management staff of the month or whatever and they patrol and go around just staring at people and things. They seem to like to 'pick and choose' who they approach. We were told that our very small bag which was tucked away under a bench far out of the way was not policy and we had to remove it and go to our car. While in the middle of a set with weights. Looking around people had giant bags, drinks, equipment from home, coffee cups, towels, you name it EVERYWHERE. on the floor in the isles on the walkway ledges. But lets go choose one person and not say anything to the other 10. This goes on daily. You see them walk around and 'ignore' certain people. Its like ok take all the contents out of your bag and spread it all over the gym and that's ok, bundle it in a small bag and stash it out of the way, sorry lets be rude and go to your car. Not to mention the people in there just slamming down the cable weights as loud as possible over and over and over again. There is so much more to say but as the way things go they will probably be out of there before this gets posted and a new group learning how to manage 101 and new weird rules will come around. But if your going to try and enforce some policy it really has to be standard and across the board don't just pick and choose what you think is an easy target.

Planet Fitness was an extremely disappointing experience. The customer service and professionalism were severely lacking. An employee named Zemarra made racist comments toward our son and some of his friends at a Las Vegas-area location on DeerSprings, which is completely unacceptable. After reporting the incident, I requested a call back from the manager to discuss the situation, but I never received a response. I have since contacted Planet Fitness corporate and am waiting to hear how they intend to address this matter. If this situation is not handled appropriately, I will not return and would strongly encourage others to consider whether they want to support a business that allows this type of behavior. If an employee cannot conduct themselves respectfully and professionally,  then theyshould NOT be working with the general public. I hope Planet Fitness takes this complaint seriously and takes the necessary steps to ensure this does not happen to anyone else. Also cowardly that the "owner" responds to 5 star ratings and just ignores the bad ones.

On June 6th, my son and several of friends went to Planet Fitness to take advantage of the Teen Summer Membership. The self-described 'assistant manager' Zemarra did not take to kindly to some young men wanting to work out during the summer. She began to yell and accusing one of the children of being a liar because he could not pull up the bar code. She went on to make several disparaging remarks to the children and when a parent was contacted she continued being rude and disrespectful, even hanging up on the parent. She threatened the children with calling security. When asked to speak with a manager she stated no one above her would be available until Monday. It is very disheartening to see young children, customers and adults being treated in such a manager. Zemarra is rude and shouldn't be interacting with the public in such a manner. I have canceled my membership and my child will not be coming back.. I would advise others to do the same.
