The chicken mole was a little less spicy than a prefer, but, the Oaxacan Mule had more kick than I expected. Overall a great meal and our waiter was excellent!

It's really hard for me to give 5 stars for Mexican food in Las Vegas. I'm from Colorado and Las Vegas Mexican food is terrible in comparison. 4/5 is as good as it gets for me. Rice and fresh onions in the the smothered burrito killed it for me. All I could taste was onion. You have to sautee onions or they over power the taste. IMHO, and rice is just a filler. Next time I'll try without onions and rice, because the red and green chili actually tasted pretty good. The Carne Asada was dry though.

We had to request steak knives and melted cheese. We said we were celebrating 2 birthdays waiter did nothing I even requested birthday on my reservation Very unhappy 😞😞😞

I was very disappointed with my experience at Casa Don Juan. I ordered the chimichanga, and it was extremely bland with almost no flavor. After taking a few bites, I spoke with the manager about the issue, hoping for a reasonable resolution. Instead, she was rude, unapologetic, and came across as combative throughout the conversation. To make matters worse, she attempted to charge me for half of the order despite the fact that the meal was unsatisfactory. She then asked if I wanted to take the rest home and told me that I should let her know earlier next time if there was a problem. My response was simple: there won’t be a next time. The waiter was decent and did his job, but the overall service was slowed down by a long ticket time. It took far too long for our food to come out to the table. Between the flavorless food, poor management response, and lengthy wait times, this was not a pleasant dining experience. I won’t be returning and cannot recommend this restaurant.
