Some good trails here to hike. Depending what time of the day you get here you can get some just a great views. You can loop or go as far as you’d like and turn around to come back. I think it’s fairly easy for the most part.

Quiet trail. Started at 5:30am. Only saw one other hikers before 7am and 3 bikers, 1 dog walker right at 7. Pretty much had the trail to myself.

The turnaround is an alright place to rest in your vehicle before you go hiking and the park opens.although I did have a slight night terror while doing this unrelated to the park and it's location

Having been on many adventure hiking trips throughout Calif, l have to say desert hiking is strenuous and and lacking in the enjoyment l had on hikes in CA
