The purpose is simple: to increase awareness of death so we can make the most of our finite live s.\n\nA Death Café\; is not grief therapy\, counseling\, or a suppor t group. It has no agenda\, no objectives to accomplish\, and no predeterm ined themes. Instead\, it is a participant-led discussion where everyone i s invited to share\, listen\, and explore whatever arises in a safe\, resp ectful environment.\n\nOver the next 90 minutes\, stories are shared\, que stions are explored\, perspectives are broadened\, and meaningful connecti ons are made. While tears are certainly welcome\, so is laughter.
